Denise works in both watercolors and oils and has studied at the Loveland Academy of Fine Arts, Foothills Art Center in Golden, the Denver Art Students' League, and most recently with Russian painter and art professor Boris Shoshensky.

Denise has held numerous solo art exhibits and has been in many juried art shows, twice winning Best of Show honors. Her paintings are in private and corporate collections nationwide. She is Vice President of the Evergreen Artists' Association and former Vice President of the Colorado Watercolor Society.
